Sao Paulo and its rival, Rio de Janeiro, are often compared to New York and Los Angeles respectively. If Rio has gained fame for its striking natural setting, Sao Paulos attraction lies in its people and its vibrant cultures.

Brazils business capital, São Paulo is the biggest city in the country and the third largest in the world.

Located in the south-east of Brazil, it is nicknamed Terra da Garoa (Land of the Drizzle) after its copious rainfall.

Most tours of Jaffa start off at its most famous landmark, the Turkish Clocktower Square, site of the clock tower erected in 1906 to mark the 30th anniversary of Sultan Abed-El-Hamid II as ruler of Turkey. (Similar towers were constructed simultaneously in Jerusalem, Nablus and Ramle). Four separate clocks grace the top of the tower, one on each of its sides. Starting in the late 19th century Jaffa prospered, as thousands of Jews returning to their ancestral homeland, landed there. But the British, who had captured all of the Land of Israel from the Turks in 1917, needed a deep water port for 20th-century shipping and Jaffa did not fit the bill. Thus, it began to fall by the wayside.

Meanwhile, Tel Aviv had developed its own small port to the North. Nevertheless, as Tel Aviv grew into Israel's largest city and economic and cultural capital, Jaffa also developed as an integral part of the metropolis. Today, the narrow alleyways and ancient fishing port of Old Jaffa contrast with the pulsating modernity of Tel Aviv immediately to the north.

Tel Aviv's Azrieli Center, with its futuristic twin towers and modern shopping mall, has become, in the few short years since it opened, a Tel Aviv favorite. Your group is sure to enjoy this venue too.

With white sandy beaches that are second to none in the country, adjacent to some of Israel's finest resort hotels, Herzliya - one of the country's mjajor hi-tech centers - is also a center for shopping, restaurants and bars, and as a nighttime dining and drinking destination it more than keeps its own with Tel Aviv. Some of its finest pubs and restaurants are located in the city's industrial area, on and around Maskit Street.

If what you want for your winners is to spend your days relaxing and "inviting your soul," preserving your energies for evenings of revelry, the combination of Herzliya and Tel Aviv is a "natural."

Barbados has outlined plans to develop its health and wellness tourism sector to help overcome the reliance of the countrys travel industry on seasonality and the vagaries of the global economic climate.

The Barbados Minister of Tourism, Richard Sealy, has said that health and wellness tourism is growing faster than the overall travel and tourism industry, and Barbados plans to develop its health and wellness market.

Jamaica Tourist Board has reassured the travel trade that the main tourism areas remain unaffected by the violence in its capital, Kingston.

Director of Tourism John Lynch said: Travellers to the areas of Jamaica including Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Port Antonio, Negril and the South Coast are some four hours away from the area of concern.
