Breaking news: something disappointing is getting even more disappointing. We've always been unimpressed with Jessica Simpson's show, "The Price of Beauty," in which she and her best friends, Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb, travel around the world to discover what "beauty" means in other cultures.

But scratch that idea. Now it could become a makeover show.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - British TV and record producer Simon Cowell, one of the most successful entrepreneurs in British and U.S. show business, is planning to bring his "The X Factor" talent show to Las Vegas in a global pay-per-view Internet venture.

Cowell, 50, best-known as the acerbic judge on America's top-rated TV singing contest "American Idol", told the British version of GQ magazine he had partnered with British retail billionaire Sir Philip Green on the new "X-Factor".

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6, 2009 (Reuters) Cable television network A&E on Friday unveiled plans for a new reality TV show starring four brothers of late pop star Michael Jackson depicting them dealing with his death and rehearsing for an upcoming concert.

"The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty" will star Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon Jackson in six one-hour episodes, starting December 13. A&E said.

LONDON (Reuters) - Street dancers Diversity were the surprise winners of television contest "Britain's Got Talent" on Saturday, beating favorite Susan Boyle who became an Internet phenomenon and global celebrity after appearing on the show.

Of the 10 finalists, Diversity were the bookmakers' sixth favorite to win going into the show, but their acrobatic performance choreographed by 20-year-old Ashley Banjo was described by judge Simon Cowell as "utter perfection."
