Olympus Imaging announces the new Olympus SZ-11 compact digital camera that is perfect for travel and sports events. The Olympus SZ-11 digital camera features a 20x ultra-zoom lens, DUAL IS and HD video recording. ScienceDaily (Mar. 1, 2010) Using entire galaxies as lenses to look at other galaxies, researchers have a newly precise way to measure the size and age of the universe and how rapidly it is expanding, on par with other techniques.
The measurement determines a value for the Hubble constant, which indicates the size of the universe, and confirms the age of the universe as 13.75 billion years old, within 170 million years. The results also confirm the strength of dark energy, responsible for accelerating the expansion of the universe.

Ricoh GXR camera system : Ricoh announce the release of the GXR interchangeable unit camera system featuring the world's smallest and lightest digital camera with the ability to change lenses. The new Ricoh GXR is an interchangeable unit camera system in which lenses are changed by using a slide-in mount system to attach camera units to the body. The lens, image sensor, and image processing engine are integrated into the camera units so the body itself does not contain an image sensor.
