The Olympus SP-810UZ camera, announced yesterday, is the smallest digital camera with a 36x zoom lens.
The 14-megapixel Olympus SP-810UZ has a 24-864mm (equivalent) zoom range, 720p HD video, 3D shooting, a 3-inch LCD display and in-camera Magic Art Filters for both still photos and videos.

The Olympus SP-810UZ superzoom digital camera will be available in September at a suggested price of $329.99.

Today, Nikon announced the new full-featured, compact Coolpix P500 super-zoom digital camera. The P500 features a 12.1-megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor, a super wide-angle 22.5mm-810mm (35mm equivalent) 36x wide-angle optical Zoom-Nikkor ED glass lens, EXPEED C2 dual image processor, 1080p full HD video recording, a 3-inch vari-angle LCD screen, hybrid vibration reduction stabilization system with image-sensor shift VR and electronic VR, Backlighting scene mode, in-camera high dynamic range (HDR) function, Night Landscape and Portrait modes, Easy Panorama mode, Scene Auto Selector, Best Shot Selector and Smart Portrait System, and a new shooting mode button for continuous frame shooting and a pre-shooting cache.

Sony had one of the busier and more interesting booths at PMA this year.
Not only did they make the biggest announcement of the show (see Sony Compact Alpha Announcement), they also had some new and exciting compact Cybershot cameras, two of which were featuring here in videos from the Sony booth.

Casio announced the release of another groundbreaking digital camera, the Casio Exilim Hi-Zoom EX-H10 digital camera. With a thin, compact body and a wide-angle 24mm, 10x optical zoom lens, this new casio camera can also take 1,000 shots on a single battery charge - making it the perfect travel companion.
At the heart of the new Casio Exilim EX-H10 camera is the Exilim Engine 4, which delivers higher image quality and lower power consumption in an even more compact package.
The new Engine's Multi-CPU is specifically designed for high-speed image processing. The camera also features an HD Movie function. Just press the Movie button to take movies at 1280x720 pixels.
