Olympus Imaging announces the new Olympus SZ-11 compact digital camera that is perfect for travel and sports events. The Olympus SZ-11 digital camera features a 20x ultra-zoom lens, DUAL IS and HD video recording. Thanks to the advanced optical expertise, Olympus has been able to incorporate in the compact, palm-size SZ-11 camera the same super-telephoto capability that normally makes digital SLR cameras so bulky and heavy. Because it is so slim, the Olympus SZ-11 camera is an ideal travelling companion, offering the power of a full-size camera and lenses without increasing the amount of luggage. The Olympus SZ-11 is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in August 5, 2011.
