Following Sunday nights onstage assault of Oasis Noel Gallagher, the guitarist was taken to a hospital where an examination revealed he suffered a suspected fractured rib and ligament damage. During the bands Toronto Virgin Festival-closing set on Sunday night, Gallagher was pushed from behind by 47 year old Daniel Sullivan, who was promptly restrained and arrested. The band took a short break following the attack but returned to finish their set before Gallagher made his way to the hospital. As for Sullivan, he was arrested and charged with assault. As of right now, Oasis show in London, Ontario tonight is expected to go on as scheduled.
